Terms and Conditions – Bookings & Fees

Discounts may be available for midweek nursery bookings.
Abagofun provides party entertainment, magic and bespoke event experiences.
We also offer entertainment for special occasions, weddings and family fun days. Bespoke
parties and events are priced upon enquiry.
All bookings require a non-refundable booking fee to secure the date and services.
The booking fee will be £100 or 25-50% of the total booking value, whichever Abagofun
deems applicable.
Booking fees are not deposits and are strictly non-refundable, except in exceptional
circumstances at Abagofun’s discretion.
No booking is confirmed until the booking fee has been received.
Failure to pay the required booking fee will result in the booking remaining incomplete and
may lead to cancellation.
Contracts & Booking Information
For private bookings, a signed contract must be returned to complete the booking process.
This confirms acceptance of your unique booking code, event details and these Terms &
Conditions.
The hirer must provide the full and correct venue postal address prior to the event.
Payment Terms
The remaining balance of the booking must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the
event date.
For corporate bookings, payment terms of up to 28 days before the event to be agreed on
placement of a booking with management and acceptance is confirmed on receipt of the
booking fee.
Late payments will incur statutory interest and compensation in accordance with the Late
Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Abagofun reserves the right to withhold services where payment terms have not been met.
Travel & Additional Charges
A mileage charge of 50p per mile applies to events located more than 10 miles from the
Abagofun base address.
Any costs incurred for repair or replacement due to damage caused by misuse of equipment
or props will be charged to the hirer.
Event Delivery
Entertainment, games and magic may vary between parties and events and are delivered at
Abagofun’s discretion to suit age groups, environments and event flow.
Abagofun aims to arrive at the venue 30–60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time
(depending on event type). While every effort is made to arrive promptly, Abagofun cannot
be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Supervision & Safety
Children and participants must be supervised by a fully responsible adult at all times during
Abagofun parties and events.
Abagofun accepts no responsibility for injuries or incidents arising from a lack of supervision.
Acceptance of Terms
By paying the booking fee, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions as outlined
on this website and, where applicable, within your signed contract.
Corporate bookings enter this contract on receipt of booking fee.
Cancellations & Liability
In the event of cancellation by the hirer, the following terms apply:
Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the event date will incur a charge of 50% of
the total booking value.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will incur a charge of 100% of the total
booking value.
Any booking fees already paid will be retained and applied toward the cancellation liability.
These charges reflect the time, preparation, staffing, creative development and resources
committed in advance of your event.
Abagofun strongly recommends that clients ensure they have appropriate insurance where
required.
Abagofun reserves the right to reallocate cancelled dates at its discretion, however this does
not remove the hirer’s liability under these cancellation terms.

A Booking fee of £50 or 20% of your final account whichever Abagofun deem applicable is required for all Abagofun bookings (Elf Booking fees are only £10).

This booking fee is strictly non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances. Failure to produce a deposit will result in an incomplete booking and your event being cancelled.

A signed contract must be received (for private bookings), to complete the booking process, accepting your unique code and party/event information.

Complete venue postal addresses must be provided by the hirer.

Mileage charge (for event/party 10+ miles from our Abagofun address)@ 50p per mile.

Entertainment, games and magic may vary from one party/event to the next.

Children and participants are to be supervised by a fully responsible adult at all times during Abagofun parties/events.

Any costs incurred for repair damages, caused by misuse, will be charged to the hirer.

Abagofun aim to arrive at the arranged venue between 45-60 minutes before the scheduled time (party/event type dependant), however Abagofun cannot be held responsible for situations out of our control, that may contribute to, or cause delays.

By booking with Abagofun and placing a booking fee, you agree to our terms and conditions, outlined in the contract (Private bookings only) or as outlined on this website on receipt of the 20% booking fee.

Late payments will incur interest in accordance with the late payment of commercial debts (interest) act 1998.  All accounts to be settled 7 days prior to your event or 14 days after for Corporate bookings (to be agreed with management prior to receipt of deposit)
